Class Room Manners
While we hope that you enjoy your experience at The Farmhouse Kitchen, we would like to remind you that you are in our home and we would appreciate it if you do not wander throughout the house but remained within the kitchen and dining area.
We would also ask you to please be respectful and polite to the staff and your fellow students.
Drop off and pick up:
If you are being dropped off to attend a class at The Farmhouse Kitchen, the person that is taking you to the class cannot wait for you on the property, in the car or in the house for the duration of the class. We would appreciate it if they can find an activity elsewhere while the class is in progress.
Serving of Alcohol
As you are invited to join us for lunch you will be offered one glass of Tasmanian white or red wine. Wine is an important part of the Italian experience however Italians only drink a small glass of wine as a companion with the meal and in order to enhance the flavour of the food.
We will try to accommodate dietary restrictions wherever we can but it may not be possible to change every dish that is prepared in a class. Please let us know if you have any dietary issues or allergies prior to booking for a class.
We apologise but we are unable to accommodate vegan, celiac, halal or kosher cooking.
We are a very small cooking school and cancellations can have a big impact on our business, as a result, we do not offer refunds. If you are unable to attend the class and wish to cancel, please provide 14 days notice should you wish to re-book to another class in the future and we will keep your funds in credit, this gives us time to find someone to take your spot. The booking is transferrable so you could simply ask a friend to take your place.
Gift certificates are not redeemable for cash.
For Your Comfort
Aprons will be provided for your use on the day. Please ensure that you are wearing comfortable footwear as you will be on your feet for a number of hours.
